Speakers Bureau

The Falcons Landing Chapter of MOAA has established a speaker’s bureau. This initiative is in keeping with the chapter’s goal of continuing to inform the American public about their military establishment.  In particular, the chapter would like to share the unique military and government knowledge and expertise of our Falcons Landing residents and especially any in depth knowledge gained by actual participation in historical events. Selected speakers will be made available by the chapter to “general” audiences such as those found in civic service organizations and fraternal organizations.  Many of these organizations usually have guest speakers at their monthly meetings. Speakers are also available to educational institutions and any other organization interested in national security and government affairs.

Initially these presentations will only be available in the Fairfax and Loudoun County areas of Northern Virginia.

The Military Officer’s Association of America (MOAA) is a nonprofit veteran’s association dedicated to maintaining a strong national defense and ensuring our nation keeps its commitments to currently serving, retired and former members of the uniformed services and their families and survivors. Membership is open to active duty, National Guard, Reserve, retired, and former commissioned officers and warrant officers of the following uniformed services: Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard, Public Health Service, and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.  Memberships also are available for surviving spouses of deceased officers. Falcons Landing is a Life Plan Community (CCRC), operated by the Air Force Retired Officers Community (AFROC).  The Independent Living is open to all qualified former military personnel and qualified former government employees. Special exceptions will be considered by the Board of Directors, on a case-by-case basis to any person and/or their lawful spouse, who has had a significant special relationship with the Department of Defense, Homeland Security, Federally Funded Research and Development Centers or other government agencies associated with the national defense community.

We look forward to working with you and providing an outstanding speaker tailored to support your program needs. To receive a current list and schedule a presentation, please contact:
